The best time to start chiropractic care is at birth, the second best time is now! Dr. Ellie has taken care of babies immediately on their way home from the hospital; come  get your newborn checked and adjusted as birth is a physically, chemically, and emotionally exhausting process.

Absolutely! Dr. Ellie is Perinatal with Webster certified! Webster is a technique and analysis specifically designed to allow for healthier pregnancies and safer births. Many mamas have found that while being under chiropractic care while pregnant their labor times have shortened as well as found their babies will get in an optimal position on their own!

Yes! Dr. Ellie has received her Certification by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics (CACCP). This is a 200 hour pediatric certification through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA). She is also Perinatal Certified! She is 1 of 5 docs within a 100 mile radius of Beaver Dam-(this certification has an emphasis on the year before birth to the first year after birth). Chiropractic looks different for a kiddo, so it is ideal for kids to receive care from someone who has extensive training and knowledge in these areas. 

During your first visit, we will discuss your health history and any current symptoms or concerns you may have. We will also perform an exam including use of the Insight scan; you can learn more about this awesome technology here. 

Specificity and precision are of the utmost importance in the clinic. Due to that, Dr. Ellie loves to take the time to review the findings from the initial exam to help create a plan prior to getting adjusted. Under extreme circumstances, you may get adjusted at the initial visit. 

The number of visits needed varies depending on the needs of the each individual and the findings from the initial visit. The body learns through repetition so the goal is always to get the body functioning at a higher level from each adjustment.

The primary type of care is gentle, lower force adjusting where you won't hear any of the "typical" popping and cracking. While gentle, still extremely effective as the technique utilizes a drop table. Other techniques include Webster technique (specifically for pregnant mamas), Logan Basic, Activator, SOT and Craniosacral. Depending on the circumstances and presentation, there can be the incorporation of more manual adjusting if desired. 

Often, yes! While the better question is, does your insurance accept us? Generations is an Out-of-Network Provider with most insurance companies (aside from Medicare). This allows us to pass savings onto you and base our recommendations on your needs, not your insurance company’s algorithm. If needed, we can provide a “superbill” that has all the diagnostic codes that your insurance needs to see to reimburse you for the services we provide. This way, the insurance company will send the reimbursement check directly to you. You are always welcome to use HSA dollars as well!

Everyone has unique needs, while most adults pay $39-$50 for an adjustment. For kids 1-15, most times a visit costs only $20. We provide membership options to allow increased discounts for additional family members as are desire to make care as affordable since we know the value of heathy, clear nervous system for all!

It depends what is easiest for you as we want to make the process as simple and smooth as possible! Some people love to book online by creating an account and scheduling a new patient visit, others love to text the clinic (we have more times available that way if needed too), otherwise a call or email works too! Prior to your initial visit we will send out intake paperwork and provide more overview of what to anticipate.
